BioI'm a "work in progress" with good intentions. But, some days, I'm "a piece of work" with skinned knees. I hope what counts is that I keep trying to be the former.
I love rocks, minerals and gem stones. I collect them and I also make jewelry from them. For as long as I can remember, few things have made my heart sing like the power captured in a gorgeous piece of earth!
I love animals, and believe part of my work on earth is to help them. I have no room in my life for people who mistreat them, or believe they do not deserve to be cared for with the same level of protection or dignity that a human does. After all, humans have committed many more attrocities BY CHOICE on this earth than animals have by instinct --- why do we think we are so superior?
I believe in persistence, dreams, positivity and hope. My favorite people are those who kick life in the balls every day while wearing a smile on their face and the type who don't blame everyone else for their status. I do my best to keep a smile on my face every day, too. It hasn't been easy lately, but I am a relentless warrior at heart, so I know I'll be OK. In the midst of chaos and uncertainty about my future, I continue to envision a beautiful, full life.
At the end of the day, I think that Marilyn Monroe said it best: "I just want to be wonderful."
